A Competition For Budding Fashion And Accessory Designers

ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative has launched a new design competition for emerging African designers. The competition is open to fashion and accessory designers across the continent. Prizes include a mentoring program as well as an opportunity to participate in international fashion platforms in partnership with Vogue Italia among other things.

Since 2013, the International Trade Centre Ethical Fashion Initiative mentors emerging African fashion designers by connecting them with international fashion buyers and press to promote trade.

We are inviting designers from across Africa that possess creative capacities, potential and passion to expand their business while creating jobs and more demand for luxury artisanship in ethical fashion.

Applications close on 5 January 2015.

See intracen.org for more details.
