A look back at the trends and highlights that made SAFW A/W 2015.
As we reflect on the season that was, we regard the most impactful and memorable looks and moments of the SA Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 season.
Art and fashion once again made a collision when crisp slim tailored suits were hand painted with cool and captivating graphics at House Of Ole while Roman Handt kept it masked and unmissable with striking structures and patterns and debatable fabrics. At Palse the art of construction was explored with emphasized shoulder details and a variation of textures ranging from suede to baroque inspired patterns. Meanwhile at Fundudzi it was kept blue and super comfy with fuzzy knits and over-sized wraps while Amos Tranque drew inspiration from Craig Green. For Beware The Wolf, a fusion of references – boho, military and aristocratic themes were showcased.
